The separation and purification of drug solution and residue cannot be separated without stainless steel filter cartridges.

Installing stainless steel filter cartridges in pharmaceutical equipment can separate drug residues or particles using rotary centrifugation or sedimentation.

Most people, after decocting traditional Chinese medicine, believe that all is well and pour the liquid into a bowl and drink it, but in fact, it's not the case. After decocting traditional Chinese medicine, in addition to filtering out the juice, there are also some steps that need to be completed in a timely manner.

1. Filter while it is hot. Some people are afraid of getting hot after cooking Chinese medicine and wait for the medicine to cool before filtering, which is wrong. After the traditional Chinese medicine is decocted, the solution and drug reach a balance of internal and external concentrations. As the temperature decreases, the solubility of the drug also decreases. Some of the active ingredients in the solution will return to the drug residue, and some of them will coagulate into larger precipitates, which are filtered out during filtration. Therefore, in order to ensure the effective concentration of the drug solution, it should be filtered while it is hot.

2. Do not discard the medicine residue. Some people discard the medicine residue casually after decocting traditional Chinese medicine and filtering out the liquid. Doing so will reduce the effectiveness of the medication. Because the drug residue after filtering out the liquid is in a saturated state and contains a high amount of active ingredients. Therefore, before discarding the drug residue, it can be wrapped in gauze and squeezed appropriately to completely separate the active ingredients, fully exerting the therapeutic effect of the drug.
